XV. (Cont.) There is a prophetic picture in the Vail (Veil) Up to this point we have been looking back at Church History unto our present day. Now we are looking into the future (i.e. entering through the Vail) [1]with only the "pattern" / blueprintjust "as it was in the days of Noah" (Gen.6:1-22, Matt.24:36-37, Luke.17:26-27, Heb.11:7). All he had was the pattern [2] of the Ark which was to preserve him (and his family) from the coming judgment (Gen.6:1- 22; 7:1). This was "things not as seen yet" (Gen.2:5, Heb.11:7)!The same is true today as we look towards the Second Coming. The apostle Paul says that, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Holy Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God" (i.e. the "breadth, length, depth and height" of the pattern / blueprint [2]John.16:13, 1Cor.2:9, Eph.3:18). We must prepare as Noah did according the pattern (Gen.6:22, Heb.11:7), leaving NOTHING to our imagination (Isa.55:8, 2Cor.10:4, Rom.8:6-8; 12:1-2)[3].
B. Why is this "day" aheadof the Church?
1. Because of the Tabernacle pattern (Review: Pages 9 - 9c and "The Building Code") The Vail is our next "present truth" which the Spirit of God is committed to lead the Church into (John.16:12-15). There is no going back! God is a finisher! He never start's something and not finish(Luke.14:25-33, Phil.1:6)! (REVIEW: PHASE 2, Page 6 -7)
2. Because the Vail, the day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles
cannot be separated The shadow (Deut.16:16-17, Heb.10:1-2, Col.2:16-17) says, "Three times in a year shall all thy males (no exceptions) appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread (Passover. Luke.22:1, Lev.23:1-14), and in the feast of weeks (Harvest, Pentecost), and in the feast of tabernacles" (Deut.16:16-17, Lev.23:1-44).They had to celebrate these Feast's within a seventh month period. In the New Covenant / Testament God has, isand willremain faithful to His pattern (2Tim.2:13, Matt.5:17-19).Passoverwas fulfilled at the Cross, Pentecoston the day of Pentecost but no record of the Feast of Tabernacles(Lev.23:23-44) being fulfilled. The 1st Century Church was told to look [4] for this day of atonement / Feast of Tabernacles (Heb.5:11-14; 6:1-3; 10:25, Col.2:16-17) but failed to attain it and spiritually declined down to the "dark ages." (Review Phase 2, Page 1, XII - X)
3. Because the Feast of Tabernacles must be fulfilled before Jesus returns The reality (fulfillment) of the Feast of Tabernacles is part of the "Mystery of God" (1Cor.2:1-14, [5] Eph.3:1-5, Rom.16:25-26) that must be finished before Jesus can return( Rev.10:7; 11:15, Acts.3:20- 21). Peter said, (by the inspiration of God - 2Tim.3:16-17) that the "heaven must receive
(retain / hold)[6] Jesus until the times of restitution (restoration)[7] of all things, which God
hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began" (Acts.3:19-24,
Rom.16:25-26, including Zech.14:16-19). Therefore this places the Feast of Tabernacles (the
Day of Atonement / entering through the Vail) between our generation and the beginning of
We are on a committed course to the reality of "the day"[9]of Atonement!
C. What is the prophetic significance of the truths contained in
the Vail? Make "a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made: And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. And thou shalt hang up the vailunder the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy (Exod.26:33, Gal.3:24, Matt.5:17-19).
1. The vail shall divide Jesus said, "Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division" (Luke 12:51, John.7:43; 9:16; 10:19). Paul says, the savour (the sweet savour of Christ) in usin every place. To them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life (2Cor.2:14-16). The life of Christ in us makes a division.
a.The apostle Paul says, "I beseech you, brethren, mark themwhich cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; (the doctrine of Christ 1 Cor.1:10, Heb.6:1-3,Gal.1:11-12) and avoid them" (Romans 16:17).
b.Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, (i.e. the doctrine of Christ) and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment" (1Corinthians 1:10).
c. This division will come over the truths contained in the Vail
(1)(Review: This page.XV. B. 1,2,3 /Building Code) (2) This coming "divide" is foreshadowed by mandatoryqualifications (Eph.4:11-16, Heb.5:11-14; 6:1-3, Phil.3:15)"permitting"[11]) Aaron the high priest to enter within the Vail on the day (Heb.10:25)[14] of atonement (Review: Page 9, 9a, 9b). Just as each pieceof furniture foreshadows the "good things to come" (The New Covenant Heb.10:1), the Vail is a "schoolmaster" to bring us to Christ (Gal.3:24).
(TO BE CONTINUED)
Only Aaron the High Priest was allowed to enter through the Vail once a year. The Priesthood was everyday (In the Outer Court and Holy Place) until....Only those that come to the measure qualify to enter through the Vail. (Eph.4:11-1, 1Cor.13:9-12)
