(Apostate Church / false Bride / Mother of Harlots) is sitting on the beast is signifing resting. Going to the same direction[0] / purpose / a false unity / counterfeit which

"There appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman  clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the womanwhich was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born" (Rev.12:1-4).

I. This Rev.12 Woman is a future Woman(She has not happened yet)
    This conclusion is made because of what John was told. "Write the things which thou (you)hast (have) seen,
    (Rev.1:1-18) and the things which are, (Rev.2-3) and the things which shall be hereafter; (that are in the
    future, Rev.4-11. Rev.12-19[1]expands on the events in Rev.4-11) This Revelation12 Woman is included in the
    "hereafter", the future to John. (and to us today)

    A.  There are two woman in Revelation
             Whenever a "woman" is mentioned in scripture, it is always referring to a Church, true or apostate
              (Gen.1:26-28; 2:18-25, 1Cor.15:45-46, 2Cor.11:1-3, Eph.5:21-33)

             1. There is a Godly Woman who is "a great wonder in heaven"(Rev.12:1)
                  a.  Who Satan wants to destroy, (Rev.12:4, 12, 15-17, Matt.12:25-27)
                  b.  She is "a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown
                        (1)  Clothed with the Sun / Glory of God / A Glorious Church Just as eve was for the first Adam
                                 (Gen.1:14-18, Psa.19:1-5, Rom.1:20, Gen.37:9, Rev.21:23, Psa84:11, Josh.10:13, Matt.17:1-5,
                                  Exod.34:29-35 / 2Cor.3:7-8) The Bride will be a glorious church Eph.5:21-33)
                        (2)  The Moon under her feet  / Foundation - Jesus(1Cor.3:11, Eph.2:20-22, Matt.16-18)
                        (3)  The Stars / individuals in the Church (Eph.4:11-16, Jude.1:10-15)
                                 (a)   Abraham's seed (IsaacGen.15:1-6; 21:1-3, Gal.4:21-31 / Gen.16)  as the stars(Gen.15:1-6)
                                      NOTE: "Now we, brethren (the Church) as Isaac was, are the children of promise" The
                                      star seed. (Phil.2:15. Heb.11:12Rev.1:20)
                               (b)  Jude warns that there "wandering stars" / Counterfeit ministry / Cain, Balaam and Korah
                                     (Jude.1:10-15, Rev.12:4 / 2Thes.2:3)
                          (4)  Twelve Stars/12 individuals leading the Church - Bride
                               (a)  There was Abraham (The Father), Isaac (The Only begotten Son) and Jacob / Israel[2] (The
                                     Holy Spirit) then the 12 sons of Jacob who were the beginning (foundation) of the Church in
                                     the Wilderness (Gen.49:28, Acts.7:38 / 1Cor.19:1-11 / Rom.15:4,  Matt.10:2)

                                 (b)  NOTE: The reality this pattern, "ensample"-type 1Cor.10:11 KJV) in the New Testament
                                     (Covenant) There is The Father, the only begotten Son and the Holy Spirit. Then
                                     were 12[prominent] apostles[3] selected by Jesus.
                               (c)  There were 12 stones on the High Priests breast plate representing the Church (Exod.28:15-21)
                               (d)  There were 12 loaves of Bread on the Table of Shewbread representing the entire Church in
                                      the Wilderness. (Acts.7:38, Rom.15:4, 1Cor.10:1-11)
                               (e)  There were 12 stones placed for a memorial one from each tribe (Josh.4:1-3, 8-9, 20-24)
                        (5)  On her head was a crownof twelve stars
                               (a)  NOTE: These twelve stars are the 12 [prominent] last day apostles in the last day Church,
                                     (i.e. the alive and remaining generation that the Bride shall come from1Thes.4:13-18)
                               (b)  They will be the "crown (authority - (Rev.12:1 - Esther.2:17, 2Kings11:12, 2Sam.12:26-31)
                                     upon her head." (NOTE the words "upon her head" i.e. Jesus the Bridegroom Eph.5:21-33)
                               (c)  These 12 last day apostles will "lay the foundation...Jesus Christ" (1Cor.3:10-15) and give
                                     directing under the Headship of Christ (See PHASE 12)
                                     -  It was the apostle Peter that laid the foundation, using the Prophet Joel to give direction
                                        to the 1st. Century Church (Acts.2:14-21, Joel.2:28-29)  
                                     -  It was the apostle James that laid that foundation, using the Prophet Amos to give direction
                                        to the 1st. Century Church. There a potential division between the Saved Jews and the Saved
                                        Gentiles (Acts.15:1-17, Amos.9:11-12)               
                        (6)  And she being with child
                              (a)  This means she is a married woman (Bride / wife)
                              (b)  This manchild is the fruit of the Marriage of Christ and His Church (which
                                     happens beforechapter 12) [Review: The 7th. Seal]                            

                              (c)   The man child is the PURPOSE OF THE MARRIAGE. The fulfillment of the woman's "seed"
                                     crushing the serpents head. (Gen.3:15, Col.2:14-15, Rom.16:20, Rev.12:5-12)

                              (c)   The dragon (The Devil, Serpent and Satan Rev.12:9) wants to devour the
                                     child. (i.e. the fruit of the Marriage, which is seen in Rev.12:4-17. NOTE: Since
                                     Gen.3:15 the Serpent has been trying to destroy the seed of the woman.
                                     - Began with Cain and Abel - "gotten a man from the Lord" (Gen.4:1-8, 1John.3:11-16, Jude.1:11)
                                     - Pharoah - "every son that is born ye (you) shall cast into the river" (Exod.1:8-22; 3:1-10)
                                     - Herod - "slew all the children...from two years old and under" (Matt.2:1-18)      
                                     - Dragon (Satan) wanting to devour the man child "as soon as it was born" (Rev.12:1-5)
                              (d)  The great red dragon (old serpent, the Devil, and Satan Rev.12:9) fails (Rev.12:5)
                              (e)  War in Heaven (Rev.12:7-12)
                              (f)   Dragon cast down to the earth (Rev.12:13)
                              (g)  Dragon (Satan) then comes against the Woman (Bride) (Rev.12:13-17)
                       (7)  She is taken out and protected from the beast / Harlot womanfor 42 months
                              (a)  NOTE: This pattern is seen in the days of Noah, protected in the Ark (Matt.24:36-37)
                              (b)  There are two women grinding at the mill, one taken / Rev.12 Woman taken out  / The
                                     other Rev.17 Woman left(Matt.24:41)

                         (8)  TO SUMMARIZE THE REV.12 WOMAN (Review:
                              (a)  She is a future Woman / Church (Eph.5:21-33)
                              (b)  The Sun, Moon and Stars are all Godly identification marks and her seed keep the
                                     commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
                              (c)   She is a married Woman because she is with child
                              (d)  This means the Marriage has already taken place before Chapter 12 (See chart below)
                              (e)  The great red dragon "that was cast out" (Isa.14:11-14, Eze.28:11-19)(identified as that old
                                     serpent the Devil, and Satan) stands before the Rev.12 Woman to devour the child as
                                     soon as it was born.
                                     -  NOTE: The dragon is focused on the child (the fruit of the marriage of Christ and
                                        His Church)
                                     -  WHY? Because the when the man child is caught up unto God and His Throne,
                                        there will be war in heaven and Michael and his angels will fight against the dragon;
                                        (identified as that old serpent the Devil, and Satan) and the dragon will not prevail;
                                    neither will their placefound any more in heaven.[4](Rev.12:4-8)
                                     -  Remember: Satan (the great red dragon) had lost his position as the "anointed Cherub the
                                        covereth" (Eze.28:11-19) yet he still has had access to accuse[5] us before our God
                                        day and night. (Rev.12:10, Job.1:1-12, Zech.3:1-7) But now (that old serpent, called the Devil,
                                        and Satan, which deceived the whole world Isa.14:11-16) is cast out into the earth, and his
                                        angels were cast out with him. (Rev.12:4-8)
                              (f)   This identifies THE PURPOSE OF THE MARRIAGE BETWEEN CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH to
                                     produce the man child that will

             2.  There is a ungodly woman(Rev.17) The one left
                  "There came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me,
                  Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
                  With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have
                  been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the
                  wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having
                  seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with
                  gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness
                  of her fornication
                  a.  The Rev.17 ungodly woman is left(Matt.24:41)in the Tribulation
                       (1)  Why? Because this ungodly woman[6]is sitting  upon a scarlet colored beast.[7] (The antichrist)
                       (2)  This beast has only 42 months to continue. Therefore this woman must be in that same period
                              because she is sitting on the beast. 
                       (3)  Sitting signifies resting. Going to the same direction[8] / purpose / a false unity/ counterfeit which
                             does not last. (Dan.2:42-43)
                  b.  How do we know this beast is the antichrist? (man of sin, son of perdition)
                       (1)  John is the one that uses the name "antichrist shall come"(1John.2:18)
                             (a)  Even now (1st. Cent. through to our present day) are the many antichrists whereby we
                                    know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had
                                    been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might
                                    be made manifest that they were not all of us." (1John.2:18-19)Think of Judas.[9]
                             (b)  The mystery of iniquity [Lawless][10]already in the world(Matt.24:4-5; 24:23-24, 1John.2:18;
                                       4:1-4, 2Thes.2:7)
                       (2)  Paul says,"that day (the revealing of the antichrist) shall not come, except there come a falling
                              away first and that man of sin be revealed, (Rev.13:18, 2Thes.2:3) the son of perdition"
                              (a)  NOTE: The Word "his" / "son" / "perdition" / "man" (2Thes.2:3)  
                              (b)  NOTE: On the 6th. day God created man Body, Soul and spirit. (Gen.2:7, 1Thes.5:21)

                       (3)   John says, the beast "goes into perdition(Rev.11:7; 17:8, 2Thes.9:) NOTE: Judas to son of
                              perdition. (John.17:12) This man of sin will be Body (6) Soul (6) Spirit (6). (666)

                   

                       (4)  John says this same beast "ascends out of the bottomless pit (Rev.11:7, 17:8, 2Thes.2:5 - time)
                             NOTE: This bottomless pit is not unlocked until the sounding of the 5th Trumpet
                       (5)  This is the same beast that shall make war against the saints, and the two witnesessand shall
                             overcome them, and kill them. (Dan.7:25, Rev.11:7; 13:7)

                       (6)  This same beast rose up out of the sea(Rev.13:1-9; 17:1, & 15)
                       (7)  This is the same beast / antichrist is a "man" (Rev.13:18) A Beastly man of sin /
                           body, soul and spirit. (1Thes.25:23)
                       (8)  Same beast Having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten
                              crowns (Rev.12:3; 13:1-9; 17:1-8)
                       (9)  Same beast / Upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (Rev.13:1-9; 17:3)
                     (10)  The same beast I saw resembled a leopard,[11] but had feet like those of a
                             a bearand a mouth like that of a lion.[12](Rev.13:2, Dan.7:1-25)[Review:

                     (11)  This same beast (antichrist) is given power by the dragon (the old serpent,
                              the Devil, Satan Rev.12:9) and his throne and great authority. (Rev.13:2)
                     (12)  Allthe world wondered after thesame beast. (Rev.13:1-4)
                     (13)  All the world worshipped the dragon (the old serpent, the Devil, Satan Rev.12:9)
                              which gave power unto thesame beast saying, "Who is like unto the beast?
                              who is able to make war with  him? (Rev.13:1-5; NOTE: Rev.16:12-16)
                     (14)  This same beast blasphemes against God, His name,[13] and His tabernacle,[14] and them that
                              dwell in heaven. (Rev.13:6, NOTE: Heb.8:1-5; 9:1-24)
                     (15)  And it was given unto him (the same beast) to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:
                              and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the
                              earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from
                              the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear.

                     (16)  TO SUMMARIZE THE REV.17 WOMAN (Review:
                              (a)  She is a future Woman / apostate[15] Church (Eph.5:21-33)
                                    John was in the Spirit on the Lord's day (Rev.1:10) and still wondered with great admiration
                                    even though she presented a attraction (Eze.28:17) that covered her corruption and apostasy
                                       (2Cor.11:1-15, 1John.2:18-19 Matt.13:24-30, 36-43)
                              (b)  Her identification marks are...
                                     -  Being Harlot (adulteress, fornicator, whore) Someone that is manipulating[16] (i.e. to    
                                        control or influence (a person or situation) cleverly, unfairly, or unscrupulously) the truths
                                        of marriage. This is why James writes, "Ye (you) adulterers and adulteresses, know ye (you)
                                        not that the friendship of the world (1John.2:16) is enmity with God? whosoever therefore
                                        will be a friend of the world(1John.2:16) is the enemy of God." (Jam.4:4, 1Cor.6:11-20)
                                     -  A fornicator (just "like" being married, but without rules / lawless -i niquity 2Thes.2:7) 
                                     -  Her covering (clothing) is a counterfeit glory[17] of the dragon whose purpose is to be just
                                        "like" the Most High (Isa.14:11-14, 2Thes.2:4, Rev.17:3)See point I.A.b.(1)
                                     -  Having the testimony of the antichrist, just "like"[18] / a counterfeit of the Rev.12 Woman
                                     -  Drunk with the blood of the Saints and prophets (Rev.17:6)
                                     -  Sitting on the beast (antichrist) riding with the antichrist, going to the same way, with the
                                        same purpose opposing and exalting himself above all that is called God,[19] or that is
                                        worshiped; so that he as God sitteth (will sit) in the temple of God, shewing himself that
                                        he is God. (Isa.14:13, Psa.48:1-2; 125:1, 2Thes.2:4)
                              (c)   Because she is a corrupt / counterfeit version of a married Rev.12 Woman, a False
                                     / counterfeit / "another" 2Cor.11:1-15) marriage will the place to be "like" the real Marriage
                                     of Christ and His Bride at the time of the 7th. Seal.
                              (d)  She has no child.
                              (e)  She is compared to a "Great City" Rev.17:18 (Counterfeit of Beloved City / True Bride / wife
                                     Rev.21:1-2, 9-10)
                               (f)  The great red dragon (identified as that old serpent the Devil, and Satan) "was cast out"
                                        (Isa.14:11-14, Eze.28:11-19)  stands before the Rev.12 Woman to devour the child as soon
                                     as it was born.
                                     -  NOTE: The dragon is focused on the child (the fruit of the marriage of Christ and
                                        His Church Rev.12:1-4)

                                     OF CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH.

    C.  The Rev.12 Woman is the ONLY ONE that is preserved from the antichrist
            Think of Noah in the Ark. Jesus said, "as it was in the days of Noe (Noah), so shall it be also in the days
             of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day
             that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all" (Luke.17:25-27).
                                                                                                                                                                                                                           There will be an "alive and remaining" people of God that will be protected. As in the days of Noah.
             This protection will last as long as the destruction. As in the days of Noah. This Godly Woman
             (the Rev.12 Woman) be protected for  the same length of time as the time of the man of sin. (42
             months, 1260 days, time, times and half a time, time times and dividing of times). (Gen.7:23, 1Thes.4:15)

    
             Therefore identifying this "Woman"is crucial in our end-time doctrine.
