I. What about the Pre-Tribulation Rapture?
The Pre-Tribulation Rapture teaches that Jesus is returning before the tribulation for the Church.
It teaches that the dead and alive will rise to meet Him in the clouds...in the air (1Thes.4:13-18,
1Cor.15:51-52).Then the Church / the Bride of Christ will remain there with Jesus for seven years
while all the destruction of the Seals, Trumpets, Woes, Plagues, Vials, and the antichrist's purpose
in the Tribulation are taking place on earth. Then Jesus will finish his coming or some say, come
a second time, bringing His Church / Bride to this earth and destroy the antichrist.
A. Is there a "Rapture" and a "Second Coming", making a two part coming?
1. In the Old Testament scriptures, the Second Coming is called "the day of the Lord"
(Dan.2:36-45; 7:13; 9:27; 11:35, 40; 12:1-4/ Isa.2:12/ Joel.1:15; 2:1, 31/Acts.2:20/ Joel.3:14/
Amos.4:18-20/ Obed.1:15/ Zeph.1:13-15/ Zech.14:1, Mal.4:5).
[The grey color is the position of the Pre-Tribulation doctrine]
2. Some think that the New Testament writers were writing about a different day other than
the Old Testament "day of the Lord" which the Prophets spoke of. They would say there is a "day of
Christ" (which they call the "Rapture") happening before the Tribulation and is separate from the day
of the Lord. They claim that 1Thes.4:13-18 is the day of Christ / The "Rapture".
a. However there are several titles given for the Second Coming.
(1) To the Corinthian Church Paul said "the day of our Lord Jesus Christ"(1Cor.1:8).
(2) To the Philippian Church Paul said, "the day of Jesus Christ" (Phil.1:6).
(3) To the Philippian and Thessalonican Churches Paul says, "the day of Christ"
(Phil.1:10; 2:16, 2Thes.2:2).
(4) To the Church at Thessalonica Paul says, "the Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2Thes.2:1).
b. There is also "the day of God" (2Peter.3:12).
c. There is also a New Testament "the day of the Lord"(1Thes.5:1-2, 2Peter.3:10, James.5:7-8).
NOTE: Does this mean we have six different Second Comings, because of these six
different titles? The answer is no. It is the day of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Always singular)
[The grey color is the position of the Pre-Tribulation doctrine]
3. There is no two stage Coming(Parousia).
His coming is ONE DAY of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. God gave Peter the revelation of the name of the
LORD JESUS CHRIST on the day of Pentecost. "Let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God
hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ" (Acts.2:36).
a. "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us" (John.1:14, Matt.1:17-25). Gabriel told Mary
to called HimJesus (Matt.1:21, Luke.1:26-31).
b. At the river Jordan, Jesus became the Christ (The Messiah Dan.9:26 / anointed one Matt.3:13-17,
John.1:35-41, Matt.11:2; 16:16, Matt.16:20; 24:5).
c. Jesus Christ then told His disciples while He was confirming the covenant (Gal.3:16-17) ,
(1) "I have yet many things to say unto you," (about my name)[17]John.16:10-15,
(2) but ye cannot bear (receive 1Cor.2:14) [3] them now (Before the Cross).
(3) Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth."
(The truth about my name, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (John.16:10-15).
(4) This is exactly what happened after Jesus Christ was crucified as our Passover Lamb
(1Cor.5:7-8). He was resurrected (Acts.2:30) and glorified, (John.7:38-39; 17:5) sending
the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost (Acts.2:1-36). On this day Peter stands up and
proclaims, "Let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that "God hath madethe same
Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ". (This is the Family name,
The Lord Jesus Christ, that the Bride will take (Eph.3:14-15).
NOTE The name of The Lord Jesus Christ throughout Acts, the Epistles and Revelation
(Acts.2:36; 10:36; 15:11; 16:31, Rom.1:7, 1Cor.1:2, 2Cor.1:3, Gal.6:14, Eph.3:14,
Phil.3:20, Col.2:6, 1Thes.2:19, 2Thes.2:1, 1Tim.1:2, 2Tim.4:1, Titus.1:4,
Philemon.1:3, James.1:1,1Peter.1:3, 2Peter.1:16, 2John.1:3, Jude.1:4, Rev.1:1).
(5) This is why Paul, who was taught by Jesus (Gal.1:11-12), wrote...
(a) "Now we beseech you brethren, by the coming (singular ,Grk."parousia")of our "Lord
Jesus Christ" (2Thes.2:1-2, 1Cor.1:8). NOTE: The "coming" that Paul is referring to is
1Thes.4:13-18 because the Thessalonians were thinking, as some do today, that the
coming of the Lord Jesus Christ was "at hand" (Imminent).
(b) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will
perform it until the day(Grk."parousia")of[the Lord] Jesus Christ (Phil.1:6, 2Peter.3:10).
(c) That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence
till the day of [Lord Jesus] Christ (Phil.1:10; 2:16, 2Thes.2:2).
(d) Looking for and hasting unto the coming (Grk."parousia") of the day of God, [The Lord
Jesus Christ] wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved (2Peter.3:12).
(e) The day of the Lord(2Peter.3:10).
(f) It is the day of God (The Father / LORD), the Son (JESUS) and the Holy Ghost (CHRIST),
the "Godhead" (Rom.1:20, Col.1:9, Matt.28:19 / Acts.2:38; 8:16; 10:46; 19:5).
NOTE: At the Second Coming, Jesus is returning as THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, as KING of
KINGS and LORD of Lord's (Dan.2:31-45, Note.v.44, Rev.11:15; 19:11-21), ONE SECOND
COMING. The Prophets and the New Testament writer's all spoke of the SAME ONE DAY.
There is NO record [18] in scripture of a Coming or Second Coming before the tribulation.
B. "For that day (the Second Coming) shall not come, except there come..." (2 Thes.2:3)
NOTE how Paul begins his correction. "I beseech you brethren, by the coming of our LORD JESUS CHRIST"
[that I wrote about in my first epistle] 1Thes.4:13-19, "that ye be soon not shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of [the Lord Jesus] Christ
is at hand (Imminent). "Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day(1Thes.4:13-18) shall not
come,except there come..." (2Thes.2:1-3)
1. A "falling away first" / Apostacy (a defection from the truth 2Thes.2:3).
These are Christians who have allowed themselves (Matt.24:4,24) to be deceived and follow
another Jesus (similar to) Isa.14:11-15, Psa.48:2, Rom.9:, 1Peter.2:5-9, Eph.2:11-22, 2Cor.11:1-7.
a. A falling awayfrom what? (1John.2:18-20).
(1) They went out from us / the Church (Matt.13:10-17, 24-32, 2Peter.2:1-18, Jude.1:5-13).
(2) NOTE the example of Judas(Mark.13:13-19, John.6:29; 13:2; 26-29, Acts.1:15-22, v17).
Judas "was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry".
b. Out of this falling away, (apostacy - defection from the truth) the man of sin (the son of
perdition, the Beast, antichrist) will be revealed (2Thes.2:3, John.17:2, Acts.1:15-20, Rev.17:11).
NOTE: If you are looking for the Pre-tribulation Rapture of the Church i.e. the day of Christ. THEN you will
not be concerned because your doctrine places the "falling away" and "the revealing of the antichrist" after
you gone to meet the Lord in the air.
2. And "the man of sin will be revealed"(2Thes.2:3).
a. This man of sin is revealed when the bottomless pit is unlocked(Rev.9:1-2; 11:7).
b. The revealing of the Beast / antichrist happens when the fifth [5th.] trumpet sounds (Rev.9:1).
Review: PHASE 10, Page. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, for explantion of this chart. Page.6 for the bottomless pit.
c. This is one of seven trumpets that sound. The 7th. trump is the "last trump" of these seven,
[See chart above] which is the Second Coming(Parousia) (Rev.8:11-2, 6-13; 9:1-13, 14-21; 10:1-7 /
Rev.11:15, 1Cor.15:51-52). This 7th. Trump is the end / the finish of the Mystery of God.
(1) You cannot have the Second Coming without the 7th trumpet sounding (Acts.3:18-24,
Rev.10:7; 11:15, Acts.3:18-24).
(2) And you cannot have the 7th trumpet blowing before the first six trumpets have blown
(Rev.8:1-2; 6-13; 9:1, 14; 10:7; 11:15).
(3) And backing up further, the first six trumpets cannot sound until these trumpets are given
at the opening of the 7 Seals (Rev.8:1). [NOTE: Chart above]
(4) Then you will find that the 1st. Seal begins the order of events in Revelation (Rev.4:1-2; Rev.5).
(5) Therefore, there is no way the coming [Parousia] of the Lord (1Thes.4:13-18, 1Cor.15:51-52)
will happen BEFORE the Tribulation, simply because all 7 Seals must be opened, and all 7
trumpets must sound first.
(6) Once the beast / antichrist is revealed, he has 42 months, then JESUS destroys him at the
end of the 42 months with His Second Coming [parousia] (2Thes.2:8-9, Rev.13:5, 2Thes.2:6,
1John.2:18-20: 4:1-4).
(7) This 42 months is / 3 1/2 years, 1260 days, 'time, times and half a time' (Rev.11:3; 12:6,14; 13:5).
(8) At the Second Coming [Parousia], the man of sin / Beast / antichrist is destroyed, the False
Prophet put in the lake of fire and the dragon (Satan / Devil / Old Serpent) put in the bottomless
pit (Rev.19:11-21; 20:1-15).
"Remember ye not, that, when I (Paul) was yet with you, I told you these
things? (2 Thes.2:5)
(Acts.17:1-10, 2Thes.2:5) According to Paul's second letter / epistle, the Thessalonians knew the
antichrist would be revealed BEFORE the Day of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, when they read
1Thes.4:13-18
(9) John says, "as ye have heard that antichrist should come" (1John.2:18-20)
taken out of the way" (2Thes.2:7). Even now (the spirit of antichrist) is already in the
world(1John.2:16, James.4:1-4) shewing (showing, declaring)[30] himself that he is God in
the Church in the Temple of God / The Church / The Body of Christ (1Chron.17:1-15;
22:17-19, 2Chron.5:1-14 / John.2:18-20, Acts.7:47-48; 17:24, Eph.2:20-22).
NOTE: If you are looking for the Rapture of the Church before the Tribulation THEN you will focus on the
antichrist being outside the Church. Plus the Temple of God (of 2Thes.2:4) will be a rebuilt earthly Temple
in that natural city of Jerusalem. You will not be alert to deception in the Church
(11) We need towatch and pray (1 Peter 4:7) because there are those "certain men crept in
unawares" (sleathliy into the Church)"who opposeth the things of God", "turning from
the grace of God"and have stealthliy "exalting himself/ themselves above all that is
called God, or that is worshiped" (2Thes.2:4, Jude.1:1-12, 1Cor.2:1-14) (Isa.14:11-14,
Ezek.28:19, Rev.13:1-18, 1Thes.5:12-28).
(12) We need to stay awake, "Let us not sleep" (1 Thes5:6). NOTE the Tares among the
wheat (Matt.13:10-17; 24-30; 36-43, 2Cor.11:1-15, 2Peter.2:1-22).
(13) We need to"earnestlycontend for the faith"(Jude.1:3). For there are certain men
crept inunawares(Matt.13:24-30, 36-43) and have gone in the way of Cain, and ran
greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying
of Core. These are Spots (Jude.1:10-12, 2Peter.2:1-22, Eph.5:26-33, 2Thes.1-11)
Jude says, "I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew
this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed them (of His people) that believed not (Exod.12 - Numbers.14).
3. Now1Thes.5:1-28takes on a different light, one of COMFORT. (See chart below).
Now we understand that there is trouble ahead, but God will preserve us in it as He
did for Israel in Egypt during the plagues (Exod.7-12). Many, like the Thessalonian Church, are
forgetting (2Thes.2:5) this order and are looking for the "imminent"(any time) Second Coming that
will Rapture them up to the clouds out of all this trouble (1Thes.4:13-18).Again now see, the Greek
word "coming" (1Thes.4:15) is "Parousia" which is the same Greek Word used by the apostle Paul for
"coming" when Jesus destroys the antichrist at the end of the Tribulation in 2Thes.2:1,8, which is
The Day of the Lord Jesus Christ.
a. "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves
know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night" (1Thes.5:4).
(1) The context [31] of "day of the Lord" (1Thes.5:1) is found in the previous verses (1Thes.4:13-18).
(a) The coming of the Lord(1Thes.4:15)
(b) For the Lord himself (Jesus) (1Thes.4:16)
(c) The voice of the Archangel(1Thes.4:16)
(d) The trump of God (7th. Trump)(1Thes.4:16)
(e) The dead in Christ rise / resurrect (1Thes.4:16)
(f) The alive and remain caught up (1Thes.4:17)
(g) To meet the Lord in the air (1Thes.4:17)
(h) The same "dayof the Lord" that the Prophets spoke of (Dan.2:36-45; 7:13, 9:27; 11:35, 40;
2:1-4, Isa.2:12, Joel.1:15; 2:1, 31/Acts.2:20, Joel.3:14, Amos.4:18-20, Obed.1:15, Zeph.1:13-15,
Zech.14:1, Mal.4:5).
(2) "But ye, brethren, are notin darkness, (As seen in the life of Noah) thatthat day
should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day:
we are not of the night, nor of darkness"(1Thes.5:4-5, 1Thes.4:13-18, 2Thes.2:1-2)
(a) As it was it the days of Noah (Matt.24:36-37, 2Peter.3:1-9) ("SAME WORD")
* Noah would see the destruction of man from the face of the earth (Gen.6:1-8,
2Peter.3:1-14, Jude.1:1-25).The alive and remaining generation will see the destruction
of man (1Thes.4:13-18, Rev.19:11-20)
* Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Gen.6:8, 2Chron.16:9, Eph.2:1-8, John.3:16).
The alive and remaining generation at the time of the Seals and Trumpets will find grace
in the eyes of the Lord (Eph.2:8).
* Noah was told to prepare and build an Ark because he would be protected in it. The alive
and remaining generation will see the "Ark" completed (Rev.10:7; 11:15, John.17:14-15).
* Noah was given time to prepare. We know this because the Flood did not come until
AFTER the Ark was finished (NOTE: Acts.3:18-24, Rev.10:7; 11:15,Gen.6:14-22, Heb.11:7,
2Peter.3:1-9).
NOTE that our generation, along with the younger generation that is coming up
and the older generation that is going out, are certainly the closest to these
end time events, simply because we all are alive right now. ONE THING we can do
RIGHT NOW is to prepare the next generation for was is foreshadowed
(Eph.4:11-19; 5:21-32 Heb.11:7).
* Noahknew when to come into the Ark, but did not know when the
destruction would come (Gen.7:1-16).The alive and remaining generation
will know when to enter into the reality of what the Ark points to
(Matt.25:6-13, John.10:1-27).
* Noah was already in the Ark BEFORE the destruction came. Noah did not
need to know the day or the hour because he was in the Ark when the flood
came. The flood did not come as a thief to Noah (Gen.6:1-22; 7:1).As it was
in the days of Noah, the Church (those that are alive and remain 1Thes.4:17)
will enter into the Marriage with Christ (i.e.7th. Seal / The finished Ark)
(Eph.4:11-16; 5:21-33, Matt.16:18)BEFOREthe Second Coming of the LORD
JESUS CHRIST. Noah found grace and had built according to the pattern that
God had provided. This is an example for us.
* Noah was protected DURING THE DESTRUCTION / wrath (1Thes.5:9).
NOTE that the Ark never left this earth.
* The world did not know until the rains came, which was to late (Gen.7:1-24, Matt.24:39).
* Contrast Noah with Lot and his family (Gen.6:1-22; 7:1, Gen.19:1-38,Luke.17:26-30,
2Peter2:1-8)
(3) NOTE the "comfort" from Paul. "Be not soon shaken" (2Thes 2:2).
"But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day (1Thes.4:13-18 Context)
should overtake you as a thief (1Thes.5:4).
a. There is no need to be shaken in mind IF you are building correctly according to the pattern.
(1) Building our faith on a sure foundation, the Rock Christ Jesus (Matt.16:18, Rom.15:20,
1Cor.3:9-17, Eph.2:20-22, Jude.1:20)
(2) Or are we placing our confidence in being changed in the "twinkling of an eye"
(1Cor.15:51-52)? NOTE: It should be noted that this scripture is referring our physical
mortal putting on immortallity / our ressurected bodies, not speaking of becoming a
ready "Bride".
b. There is no need to be shaken neither by spirit IF you are all the children of light, (the
Word) (1Thes.5:5, 1John.1:7, Psa.119:105, 130)
c. There is no need to be shaken IF we believe "God hath not appointed us to
wrath" (1Thes.5:9)
(1) IF we are children of the day / light (1Thes.5:5)
(2) IFwe stay awake and not sleeping (1Thes.5:6)
(3) IFyou are not drunken in the night (1Thes.5:7)
(4) IFwe put on the breast plate of faith and Love (1Thes.5:8, Heb.11:7 as Noah)
(5) IFwe put on the Helmet of the hope of Salvation (1 Thes.5:8)
"For God hath not appointed us to wrath...but to obtain salvation by our Lord
Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake (Alive and Remain) or sleep,
(be the dead in Christ) we should live together with him" (1Thes.5:9-10).
NOTE: Lot escaped because of God's great mercy when Abraham said, "Peradventure 10 s
hall be found". God did not find ten, but He went the extra mile and saved Lot. (Gen. 18-19)
d. NOTE the careful caution Paul gives, "we beseech you, brethren, to know themwhich
labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them
very highly in love (1Cor.13:1-13)for their work's sake" (1Thes.5:12, Heb.13:7).
e. Again, cautioning to "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good" (1Thes.5:21).
Why? Becausedeception is coming first and he (The antichrist) is going to "sit in the temple
of God and shew (show) himself that he is God", right in the temple of God (1John.4:1-4)
(1) That Temple in the New Testament is the Church.
(2) The man of sin (antichrist / false anointing / has a false prophet with a false anointing)
is going to be just "like" The Lord Jesus Christ, the true anointing (NOTE: Deut.13:1-6,
Exod.30:33) He will be a copy of the Godhead, The dragon, Beast false Prophet. The
warning to us is: STAY AWAKE, WATCH AND PRAY, ERNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH.
(3) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul
and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(1Thes 5:23).
(4) Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. Wherefore comfort yourselves together,
and edify one another, even as also ye do (1Thes.4:13-18).
(5) I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren (1Thes 5:27).
C. More confirming points that there is only one day of the Lord Jesus Christ
1. The 7th.Trump Confirmations one Second Coming.
"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering
together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by
word, nor by letter (epistle / text / manuscripts) as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand
(Imminent - about to happen)" 2Thes.2:1-2.
a. "Let no man deceiveyou (as from among us)." 'For many shall come in my name saying, I am
Christ; and shall deceive many." "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and
shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the
very elect" (Matt.24:4-5,24). There will be deceiption related to coming of Christ.
b. What happens at The 7th. Trump (the last of 7 trumpet's that sound)?
(1) "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying,
The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he
shall reign for ever and ever" (Rev,11:15). "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse;
and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and
make war" (Rev.19:11, 12-21, Dan.2:44-45).
(2) Note: It is Jesus (Lord and Christ) that is coming (Rev. 19:16).
(3) The apostle Paul refers to this trumpet as "the last trump"[19](1Cor.15:51-52, 1Thes.4:13-18).
The apostle John refers to this as the last of seven trumpets (Rev.8:1-2, 6-13; 9:1-21; 10:7; 11:15).
(4) Wherever you place the Second Coming you must include the 7th Trump. The 7th Trump of
course must be after the blowing of the previous 6 trumpets. (see chart below)
(5) Also note that the 5th Trumpet is the revealing of the Beast / antichrist (Rev 9:1-12).
(See PHASE 10, Page 6)
* He/ antichrist only has power to continue 42 months (3 1/2 years)[32] (Rev. 13:5).
* During this 42 months, the two witnesses prophecy (1260 days / 3 1/2 years)[32] and the Beast
(antichrist that ascends from the bottomless pit kills them when they had finished their
testimony which is after the 1260 days[32]. (Rev.11:7; 19:20)Then the sixth trumpet
sounds. The two witnesses resurrect and are taken up to heaven (Rev.11:11-14)
* The seventh angel sounds and Jesus comes and destroys the Beast / antichrist (Rev.19:20-21)
* This confirms (again) that the return of Christ is after the Tribulation (Post Trib)
2. Note the other events that cannot be separated from the 7th trump
At the sounding of the 7th. trump (the day of the LORD JESUS CHRIST Rev.10:7; 11:15) the dead in
Christ will rise first and those that are alive and remain will caught up to meet the Lord in the air
(1Thes.4:13-18).
Afterwhich the Lord will come with 10,000 of His saints (Jude.1:14-15) and the battle
of Amargeddon will take place (Rev.13:1-4; 16:12-16; 19:11-21).
The antichrist will be destroyed, (2Thes.2:9) the dragon / satan will be put in the bottomless pit (Rev.20:1-2).
The Beast / antichrist and false Prophet put in the lake of fire (Rev.19:20-21).
NEXT: We will reign with Christ a 1000 years.
THESE EVENTS cannot be seperated from the Second Coming the day of THE LORDJESUS CHRIST
3. The resurrection of the dead in Christ happens at the 7th. trump (only one).
This is why Paul writes, by our "gathering (singular / complete collection[5] of the saints"
2Thes.2:1-2), because there is only aressurection (singular) of the just (i.e. those that are
justified in Christ (Rom.1:17)and one ressurection (singular) for the unjust. (i.e those that have
rejected Christ) (John.5:28-29, 1Cor.15:51-52, 1Thes.4:13-18).
1. Some examples that it is "resurrection," never resurrections!
a. Therefore "in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had
her" (Matt 22:28-31, Mark.12:23, Luke.20:33-35).
b. Thou "shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be
recompensed at the resurrection of the just" (Luke 14:14-15).
c. Shall "come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they
that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation[8] (John 5:29, Rev.20:5-15). One
resurrection for the those in Christ (the just or justified by Christ's blood - Rom.1:17), and
one resurrection for those outside of Christ (the unjust, without hope - Acts.24:15; Eph.2:1). d. Martha saith unto him, "I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though
he were dead, yet shall he live" (John 11:24-26).
e. So "also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in
incorruption" (1Cor.15:42-52).
f. Hymenaeus and Philetus...saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the
faith of some (2Timothy 2:17-19).
NOTE: To have a Pre-Tribulation Rapture you have a resurrection, and there is only One
together for every saint. That ONE resurrection is when THE LORD JESUS CHRIST returns.
To have every christian in the marriage in the clouds requires a ressurection which is not there.
4. Restoration is completed at the 7th Trump
"But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ
should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be
blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. And he shall
send Jesus Christ, (at the 7th trump / last trump) which before was preached unto you, Whom the
heaven must receive (retain / hold) until the times of restitution (restoration)of all things, which
God hath spokenby the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began" (Acts3:18-21).
a. John confirms this.
"...But in the days of the voice of the 7th. angel, (Rev.8:1-13; 9:1-2,14; 10:7: 11:15) when he
shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his
servants the prophets (Rev.10:7, Acts.3:18-24, Eph.3:5, Amos.3:7, 2Peter.3:1-2, Rom.3:21-31;
16:25-26).
b. What is the mystery?
The Mystery of God is God's Redemption plan. It is the New Covenant (Testament) in Christ's
blood (The "last Adam" 1Cor.15:45), just as the "first Adam" gave himself so that Eve may be
formed and presented to himself in marriage. JESUS (the "last Adam) has given Himself on the
Cross (and NOW the Church / Eve) is being formed by God in order to present her to His only
begotten Son in marriage, bringing us back to where Adam and Eve fell from. The Old Testament
types and shadows are the BLUEPRINT, and the New Testament is how God is forming / building
the Church. Then He will present her to THE LORD JESUS CHRIST in marriage. Paul says, THIS IS
GREAT MYSTERY (Eph.5:32).
(1) Jesus told the apostles, "it is given unto you (the Church) to know the mysteries of the
kingdom of heaven, but to them (that are outside Mark.4:11) it is not given (Matt.13:11). "But
blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear (Matt.13:16,18-51, Mark.4:11).
(2) Everything that Paul wrote(Gal.11-12) is the "Mystery of God"(1Cor.2:1-14.Rom.11:25;
16:25-26, 1Cor.2:7 ).
(3) Peter and Paul said the prophets spoke to us about the "Mystery" (1Peter.1:10-12,
Matt.5:17-19; 13:10-17, Rom.3:20-31; 16:25-26).
(a) What did the Prophets say?
* They prophecied about the sufferings of Christ, which has been fulfilled(Acts.3:18,
1Peter.1:10-12).
* They prophecied about the Glory that should follow / restoration,
notcompletely fulfilled(2Cor.3:18, 1Peter.1:10-12).
5. Peterwrites
1. We must not be "willingly ignorant" of "the day of the Lord" (2Peter.3:10) and God's
timetable as the "scoffers" were in the 1st Cent, Church. (2Peter.3:1-9)
2. He reminds us about Noah. The SAME word was given to Noah, Prepare, Build Steady day in out.
3. It may seem like a long time coming, but it has only been two days unto the Lord(2Peter.3:1-9).
6. James writes
"Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming (Parousia) of the Lord. Behold, the
husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience (2Peter.3:9) for
it, until he receive the early and latter rain.Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the
coming of the Lord draweth nigh"(James.5:7-8).
a. James is referring the Feasts of Israel(PHASE 8)
(1) There were three set times in Israel's yearly calendar (Lev.23:1-44)
(2) The apostle Paul says these Feasts (Feastival days, Holy days) are "shadows" (Col.2:16),
like a BLUEPRINT to build by.
b. We have had the former rain, identified as the pouring out of God's Spirit on the Day of
Pentecost (Acts.2:1-17, Joel.2:18-28).
(1) The rain foreshadows (Col.2:16-17) the out pouring of the Holy Spirit (Joel, John.7:).
(2) These 2 rains (early and later) were given in order for the Church in the wilderness to
gather in the harvest (Deut.11:14).
(3) The New Testament Harvest is people(Gen.37:5-11, Psa.126:6, Matt.9:32-38,
13:24-25, 38, 13:37-39).
(4) But we are still waiting for the latter rain before The Second Coming.
(5) This adds to why THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is being received (retained / held) (Acts3:18-21).
(a) It is until the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles.
(b) All things that the prophets have spoken must be fulfilled.
Haggai and Isaiah hold two examples of unfulfilled prophecy (Hag. 2:9, Is.2:1-4).
D. How will there be any saints "alive and remain" at the end of the Tribulation?
The answer is foundin the identificationof the Rev.12 woman[6]. She is the ONLY event
that is preserved and protected from the antichrist.
1. She will be protected, as Noah and his family was in the Ark while the destruction was
happening. (Review again: PHASE 10)
2. The Rev.12 Woman (The Bride) are those that are "alive and remain", (Gen.7:1-24,
1Thes.4:13-18) protected and waiting to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, with the dead
in Christ.
3. Everyone else and everything on earth is destroyed / dead at the end of the tribulation, prior to
the millenium (Gen.7:21-24, 2Peter.3:1-14, Rev.16:10-16; 19:11-21).
THERE will be more to come at a later date..........................
The "twinkling of an eye" is not going to override any of these qualifications
We must remember this is only the order of events. This is not to scale.
The "Rapture" is presented by some as a secret coming, but not the Second Coming
which they call the Day of the Lord. There is only one coming, it is THE DAY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
The fact that 1Thes.4:13-18 is followed by 1Thes.5:1-9 is a confirmation that Paul had already told them "for that day(1Thes.4:13-18) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and the mam of sin be revealed" (2Thes.2:1-3)
NOTE: The Thessalonians were thinking that the Day of [the Lord Jesus] Christ was at hand (or imminent, close at hand) because of Paul's first letter / epistle. (1Thes,1:10; 2:19; 3:13; 4:13-18; 5:1-4) This caused Paul to write the Second letter and correct their error.(2Thes.1:10; 2:1-12; 3:5)
