FOOTNOTES - Jerusalem / Zechariah 14:16-21 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1. (270-50 BC) - This is the silent years where there was no prophetic voice heard. Malachi was the last prophet. How can someone claim God's inspiration when it was not there?
2. Synagogues -
3. Pharisees and Sadducces -
4. Book of Maccabees / Maccabaean /revolt (167 BC)
9. Repaired and hung back up in the Temple - The ONLY scripture that prophesy's about a earthly / natural "city (Jerusalem) and the sanctuary" / Temple being built again / restored, is in Dan.9:26 which took place in the Old Testament books of Ezra and Nehemiah. (The time of Media-Persia before the Cross) Review: PHASE 5, Page 6 and 7 After the Cross there will be a "spiritual habitation of God through the Spirit" (Eph.2:20-22, 1Peter.2:5) / Temple / Sanctuaryonly Temple / Sanctuary / House that will be built after the 70 year
10. Their House / Temple - Feast of the JEW (These are my feasts)
11. Never to be built again - According to the Despensational doctrine there will be a Third Temple (Hebrew: בית המקדש השלישי, Beit haMikdash haShlishi, literally: The House, the Holy, the Third) would be the third Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, after Solomon's Temple and the rebuilt Second Temple.
They say...(Click the blue links for why I do not teach this))
a. Although itremains unbuilt, b. Thenotionof and desirefor a Third Templeissacred in Judaism, particularly Orthodox Judaism, and anticipated as a soon-to-be-builtplace of worship. c. The rebuilding of theThird Templealso plays a major role insomeinterpretations of Christian eschatology. d. Dispensationalism - This view isa core part of Dispensationalism, an interpretative framework of the Bible that stresses Biblical literalism and... (1) Asserts that theJews remain God's chosen people. According to Dispensationalist theologians, such as Hal Lindsey and Tim LaHaye, (2) TheThird Temple will be rebuilt when the Antichrist...secures apeace treatybetween the modern nation of Israel and its neighbours following a global war. (3) The Antichrist lateruses the templeas a venue forproclaiming himself as Godand the long-awaitedMessiah, demanding worship from humanity, often identified as the political leader of a trans-national alliance similar to the European Union or the United Nations,
12. The Prophets who bore witness to Christ the MESSIAH, The Temple (the Body of Christ / THE CHURCH) a. (Rom.3:21-31) b. Why would they be prophesying about the earthly (physical) Temple made with hands. Look at how The Spirit of God describes it. (1) To further confirm God's rejection of their House is when He rent (split or sever (literally or figuratively): —break, divide, open, rend, make a rent.) the Veil in twain (in two) from the top to the bottom (Matt.27:50-51) God's presence had gone. In fact the apostle Paul describes (2) Then approximately 70 years later the earthly Temple and City (Jerusalem) was destroyed. Since (3) This time unto our present day (2019 AD) there has been no earthly Temple in Jerusalem and there is no promise from God to rebuild. (a) In fact Rev.11:1-8 says the spiritual condition of the city (earthly Jerusalem) "where our Lord was crucified", is Sodom and Egypt. (b) It is also compared to Hagar and Ishmael. (Gal.4:21-3 / Gal.1:11-12 / Luke.24:44-45) (c) Look at the example of the Prophet Haggai - Some say, "The prophets in the Hebrew Bible called for its construction to be fulfilled prior to, or in tandem with, the Messianic age" - "Although it remains unbuilt, the notion of and desire for a Third Temple is sacred in Judaism, particularly Orthodox Judaism, and anticipated as a soon-to-be-built place of worship. The prophets in the Hebrew Bible called for its construction to be fulfilled prior to, or in tandem with, the Messianic age." (Wikipedia)(Click the blue links for why I do not teach this) (4) There is only one place in Daniel to speaks of a Temple (made with hands) being rebuilt. That place is in Dan.9:25 "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times." (Dan.9:25) (a) This was during the time of Ezra and Nehemiah / Medi-Persia / Before the Cross (b) This was before the revealing of the Messiah and Him being cut off / Crucified / The Cross
Note: To rebuild the earthly / natural Temple again is to ignore Christ as the Messiah 13. The Prophets - Were not speaking a rebuilt Temple "made with hands"
14. Foundation is Christ - All that He is
15. Shall teach us His ways -
16. Gendereth - Strong's NT#1080 / from a variation of G1085; to procreate (properly, of the father, but by extension of the mother); figuratively, to regenerate:—bear, beget, be born, bring forth, conceive, be delivered of, gender, make, spring
