What about the Pre-Trib. Rapture? (Cont.) (Page.2 of 2)
The only event that escapes the wrath of the antichrist is the Rev.12 Woman. (The modern day "Ark") Continued from page 1
8. Note the symbols of the Sun, Moon and the Stars.
There "appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under
her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in
birth, and pained to be delivered. (Rev 12:1-3)

a. She is clothed with Sun.
This is her only clothing, just as Eve was clothed with a covering that God provided, because
they did not know they were naked.
- The Sun speaks of God's Glory. (Gen.1:14-18, Psa.19:1-5, Rom.1:20, Rev.21:23, Psa.84:11,
Josh.10:13, Matt.17:1-5)
- John is seeing the married Bride of Christ, full of Glory's Glory, just as Haggai (Hagg.2:9) and
Isaiah (Isa.2:1-2) prophesied about. (Rom.2Cor.3:18, Rom.8:18, Eph.5:27)
b. She is standing on the Moon
This is her position. (i.e. foundation)
- The Moon is symbolic of the Lord Jesus Christ.3 (Gen.1:14-18, Psa.19:1-5, Rom.1:20,
Psa.66:9, Eccl.5:1, Prov.4:26, Eph.4:1,; 6:15, Heb.12:13)
- This woman has the Lord Jesus Christ as her only foundation. (1Cor.3:10-11)
c. She has "a crown of twelve stars" on her head
- A "crown" speaks of authority, victory, dominion, rule. (Esther.2:17, 2Kings.11:12,
2Sam.12:26-31)
- The "head" speaks of control, direction, the headquarters. The apostle Paul uses the
human body to explain the Church and how it functions together. (1Cor.12:1-31, Rom.1:20)
- The number twelve speaks of "government." (Gen.49:28, Exod.28:21, Matt.10:2,
Josh.4:1-3; 8-9, 20-24, Ezra. 6:7)
- The "stars" on her head Jude wrote of ministry (Leaders) as "stars." (Jude.1:13) Abraham
was told that his seed would be as the "stars." (Gen.22:17, Gal.3:29) The seven "angels"
(i.e. "angelos"- Grk. impl. Pastor) were compared to stars. (Rev.1:20)
9. To summarize the Rev.12 Woman
a. John is seeing the Bride, the Lamb's wife (Eve) that had already been presented to the
"last Adam," the Lord Jesus Christ as a "Glorious" (Glory filled) Church.
b. Christ is her foundation. (1Cor.3:10)
c. She is governed by twelve last day apostles. (Eph.2:20-22, 2Peter.3:1-2 / 1Peter.1:10-12,
Acts.2:42 "they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine")
d. The purpose of this union of Christ and His Bride is to produce the man child. (Eph.3:12 - the
manifold wisdom of God)
e. This man child (the fruit of Christ and His Church), is the fulfillment of Gen.3:15. The seed of the
Woman (the man child) that will crush the serpents head and remove Satan from his access to
heavenly places.

f. Then she (the Rev.12 Woman) will be protected from the wrath of Satan, as Noah was in the Ark
while the flood was on the earth.

g. After the war in heaven Satan will be restricted to this earth, and after 31/2 years he will
be cast into the bottomless pit and bound up for a 1,000 years.
How can the Church already be married in Rev.12:1-2?
How can the Church already be married in Rev.12:1-2 when the marriage does not take place until Rev.19:1-9. The answer is the Book of Revelation is divided into three divisions. (Rev.1:19)
1. The "things which thou (John) hast seen. (Rev.1:1-20)
2. The "things which are." (Rev.2 -3)
3. The "things which must be hereafter." (Rev.4-22)

4. Rev.12-22 fill in the details of Rev.4-11 because all the events within these chapters are
connected to the antichrist (Rev.11:1-14; 12:1-17; 13:1-7; 14:9-10; 15:2; 16:1-16; 17:1-18;
18:1-24; 19:19-21) that only has power to continue 42 months / 3 1/2 years. (Rev.11:1-2; 13:5,
Dan.7:25, Rev.12:6, 14) The timing in within the chapter. Rev.4-11 does follow chapter
after chapter. However, Rev.12-22 does not. For example: If all of Revelation followed chapter
after chapter then, there would be three 3 1/2 years periods of time given to the antichrist.
Babylon would be falling twice. There would be two groups of 144,000.
Some say the Rev.12 Woman cannot be the Church
They say that the Church is not mentioned between Rev.4 and 22. When "rightly (dissecting, correctly1) the word of truth" (2Tim.2:15) the Church is revealed in many different ways. (Note: The chart below) In Revelation the Church is the Rev.12 Woman

1. Some say that when John was told to "come up hither," (Rev.4:1) that this is the Church
being Pre-Trib. Raptured (2Thes.2:7-8) because the Church is not seen again until the Second
Coming. This cannot be because to have the "Rapture" (i.e. Second Coming) Jesus has to
return. (1Thes.4:13-18) (Review: "What about the Pre-Tribulation Rapture," page 1 of 2)
a. To have Jesus returning the seventh trumpet must blow. (Acts.3:19-24, Rev.10:7; 11:15)
This means the seven seals must be opened, and the six previous trumpets must sound.
(Rev.61-17; 8:1-13; 9:1-21, 11:15) Therefore, Rev.4:1 cannot be the Rapture.
b. To have Jesus returning the dead in Christ must resurrect, (1Thes.4:13-18, 1Cor.15:51-
52) which is the "complete collection"2 of the saints including all those the die for the testimony
during the Tribulation. (Rev.12:17; 13:7-10, Dan.7:25) (Note: It is always the "resurrection" of
the saints, it is never "resurrections." Matt.22:28, 30-31, Luke.20:30-35, John.5:29; 11:24-
25, 1Cor.15:42, Rev.20:5-6) There cannot be a resurrection of the dead in Christ before the first
seal, because it cannot be separated from the Second Coming, which is the seventh trumpet.
(Note: Chart above)
c. To have Jesus returning the man of sin must be revealed first, then Jesus destroys him.
(2Thes,2:1-9) Paul told the Thessalonians "Remember...when I was yet with you, I told, these
things?" (2Thes.2:5)

This presents a sobering picture. This means between us the Christ's return is all seven seals
and all seven trumpets. Many Christians are expecting to miss all this trouble, and will think they are
either in the tribulation and missed the Rapture, or think that they have told lies about Christ's return.
This will cause the "love of many" to "wax cold." (Matt.24:4-12)
Some say, we are not appointed to wrath (1Thes.5:9)
When Paul wrote this first epistle (letter) to the Thessalonians, they understood that there would be "a falling away first, and that man of sin (antichrist) be revealed" (2Thes.2:1-5, Key verse v.5) They were told that Jesus would destroy the antichrist at the end of the tribulation. (2Thes.2:8-9) This means that when Paul wrote, "For God hath not appointed us to wrath," he was thinking preservation in the middle of trouble, not being Raptured out of trouble because he placed the Second Coming after the tribulation.

1. Noah was preserved in the destruction. (Gen.7:1-24)
2. Rahab the harlot was preserved in her house that was on the walls that fell flat. (Josh.2:15; 6:20)
3. Jesus prayed, "I pray not that thou (God the Father) shouldest take them out of this world, but
that thou shouldest keep them from evil." (John.17:15)
4. The children of Israel were protected in the land of Goshen while the plagues were all
around them. (Exod.10:23)
5. David said, "A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not
come nigh thee." (Ps 91:7-8)
6. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall
lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.(Mark 16:18-19)
7. Daniel in the Lion's den. (Dan.6:1-23)
8. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace. (Dan.3:1-27)
9. Joseph was given wisdom and understanding to prepare for the famine that he would live
through. (Gen.41) More notes to come
