Eschatology One (Phase 10)

There are false prophets and false teachers today that "mock" the doctrine of the Second coming. They say, "Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.(2 Peter 3:1-4) Many of them say, "Every generation has thought they would see the Second Coming." They even say, the early Church thought they would see Jesus return because of what the apostle Peter, (Acts.2:17, 1Peter.1:20) Paul, (Heb.1:1-2, 1Cor.7:29) John (1John.2:18) wrote in their epistles. What these "Church" scoffers do not realize that "a day with the Lord is as a thousand years." (2Peter.3:1-9) Since the Cross until our present day, it has been "the last days." This what the apostle Peter's response. Peter writes on and says, "they are willingly ignorant." of God's clock (2Peter.3:5) just as they were in Noah's day. (Matt.24:37-38)

Our study begins with Jesus coming back!

"But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matt 24:37-40, 44; Mark.14:62; Luke.21:27; Acts.1:9-11; Heb.9:28; 2Peter.3:10; James.5:8; Rev.3:11; 22:20)

The dead in Christ will rise and those that alive an remain

"For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1Thes.4:15-18)

1.  The dead in Christ shall rise first

There is only one resurrection for the dead in Christ when Christ returns. Therefore every
dead Old Testament saint (Eph.4:8) and New Testament saint (1Thes.4:13-18) must be in this
resurrection. There is no other! This resurrection cannot be separated from the Second
Coming of The Lord Jesus Christ. Note these verses.
     a.  "
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her."
          (
Matt 22:28-31, Mark.12:23, Luke.20:33-35)
     b.  "
And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed
at the resurrection of the just."  (Luke 14:14-15)
     c.  "
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that
have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:29) One resurrection for the
those in Christ (the just or justified by Christ's blood - Rom.1:17), and one resurrection for
those outside of Christ. (the unjust, without hope - Acts.24:15; Eph.2:1-12)
     d.  "
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were
dead, yet shall he live:" (John 11:24-26)
     e.  "
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
          (
1 Cor 15:42-52)

Note: It is always resurrection and never resurrections

                          .
2.  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
There will be a generation that will not see physical death, but "be changed,
In a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1Cor.15:51-53) This generation will
be preserved as
Noah and those who "remained alive...in the ark." (Gen.6:1-22; 7:1-24, 1Thes.4:13-18,
Gen.7:23) There is only one time to be "caught up" because it cannot be separated from the
     one resurrection of the Just.

Jesus returns at the sounding of the seventh trumpet

This seventh trumpet cannot be separated from "the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherever our end-time doctrine places 1Thes.4:13-18, it also must include the blowing of the seventh trumpet, because Jesus returns at the sounding of this trumpet. (Rev.11:15) This is where the "mystery of God" is finished. (Rev.10:7)
                   .

The first six trumpets must sound before the 7th. trumpet

"
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
(Rev 8:2-3) "And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound." (Rev 8:6-7) "The first angel sounded..." (Rev.8:7) "The second angel sounded..." (Rev.8:8) The third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh angel sounded. One after the other.

                   .

When the fifth angel sounded, the bottomless pit was unlocked

"And
And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit."  (Rev 8:12-9:2)

1.  Why is the bottomless pit important to our study?
It is important because the "beast (i.e. The antichrist) ascends from the bottomless pit. "
And
when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless
     pit
shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them." (Rev 11:7-8)
     a.  The "beast" is the antichrist

This "beast" of Rev.11:7-8 is the same "beast" as in Rev.13, 17 and 19, 2Thes.2:3-4,
Dan.7:20-25 because of their identification marks.
          -  Make war with saints. (Dan.7:25; Rev.13:7; 17:1-6)
          -  Time limit, three and on half years. (Dan.7:25, Rev.13:5)  3 1/2 years, 42 months, 1260
             days, time, times and half (dividing of) times, is all the same period. (Rev.12:6, 14;
             Dan.7:25, Rev.11:3)
          -  Goes into perdition. (2Thes.2:3-4; Rev.17:8-11)
          -  Worshiped by those whose names are not written in the book. (Rev.13:8; 17:8)
          -  Worshiped as God. (Rev.13:4-8; 2Thes.2:4)
          -  Will be destroyed at return of The Lord Jesus Christ. (2Thes.2:8: Rev.19:20-21)

          .
     b.  There is "another beast" is the false prophet
"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth...he exerciseth all the power of the
first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first
beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire
come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
And deceiveth them that dwell on
           the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;
saying to them that dwell on the earth." (Rev 13:11-14) This beast is identified as the "false
           prophet."
(Rev.19:20; 13:11-18)

2.  This is where he is "revealed in his time." (2Thes.2:6)

And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the
beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
And there was
given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto
him to continue forty and two months.
(Rev 13:4-6)

Everything associated with the beast belongs in his time period

Mystery Babylon the Great the Mother of Harlots, because she is riding on the beast. (Rev.17:1-18) The two witnesses, Moses and Elijah because they are killed by the beast. (Rev.11:13) The Seven last plagues because they are poured out on the seat of the beast. (Rev.16:1-21) The fall of Babylon because this is Mystery Babylon the Great that was riding on the back of the beast. (Rev.18:1-24)
.
        .

Before the trumpets sound, the seven seals are opened

"And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets." (Rev 8:1-3) "And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound." (Rev 8:3-6) Therefore the seven trumpets follow the seven seals.

When Jesus returns He destroys the antichrist

This is another event that cannot be separated from the Second Coming. "
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:" (2 Thes. 2:8-9) The "beast" (antichrist) and the "other beast" (false prophet) are "both...cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." (Rev.19:20)

This is "Armageddon"

"And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. (Rev 16:12-16)
        .
After Christ's return there is a thousand year rest

"I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years, and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time. I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn't worship the beast nor his image, and didn't receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived, and reigned with Christ for the thousand years. (Rev 20:1-5)
 .
After the 1000 year rest the unsaved (unjust) dead rise

"The rest of the dead didn't live until the thousand years were finished."(Rev 20:5-7) These are all the unsaved, unjust, (John.5:29, Acts.24:15) unredeemed since sin entered the World. (Rom.3:23; 5:12)
  .

After the 1000 year rest the dragon is released

"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season." (Rev 20:1-3)
1.  During the 1000 year rest the Devil is "shut up," and a "seal" set upon him. (Rev.20:1-3)

Therefore everything that he is the author of, or that is associated with him also shut up and
sealed. This makes the Millennium free of the Devil and all the unsaved (unjust). A Christian
     Millennium. (Note: Chart below)

     .

2.  When Satan is released he "deceives the nations" once again

"And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go
out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to
gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea." (Rev 20:7-9)

     a.  Who are these "nations which are in the four corners of the earth?
These are all the  unsaved, (John.5:29) unjust (Acts.24:15), unredeemed that have
resurrected after the 1000 years are finished (Note: Chart above)
T
hey "went up on the
breadth of the earth," (Rev 20:9) These are the resurrected unjust, resurrecting to damnation.

 (John.5:29, Acts.24:15)
     b.  Some think that these "nations" survive the judgement of the Second Coming and live
through the 1000 year rest, and are deceived by Satan once again. This cannot be because,
          -  After Christ's return the only group that goes alive into the Millennium (i.e. The 1000 year
rest) are those who are in Christ Jesus. Typified by those who "remained...in th Ark."

(Gen.7:23, Matt.24:37-38)
          -
When Jesus returns, He defeats the dragon (Satan), puts him in the bottomless pit. The
antichrist (the beast) and the false prophet (the other beast) are put in the lake of fire,
and the remnant were slain..." (Rev.19:20-21) The "remnant" is the "whole world" that
the Dragon, the beast and that false prophet had gathered together to fight against Jesus
              when He returns. Armageddon!
There will be no unsaved alive after Jesus returns! The "Lord cometh ten thousands of
his saints, to execute judgement upon all," the ungodly. (Jude.1:14-16)

3.  The Dragon and these nations compass the Beloved city.
      "
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about,
and the beloved city: (i.e. The Bride, the Lamb's wife - Rev.21:9-10)

4.  "Fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."
(Rev 20:9-10)

5.  All the unsaved dead stand before the Great White Throne

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven
fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand
before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of
life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to
     their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the
dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death
and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
 And whosoever was not found
written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
(Rev 20:11-21:1)    New notes as of Aug.24

The Revelation twelve Woman and the Man Child

"And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered." (Rev.12:1-2)

1.  Where does this woman belong in the order of events?
     a.  She is a future woman, (Has not happen yet) because John wrote, "
After this I looked, and,
behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a
trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things (i.e. The

Rev.12 woman)
 which must be hereafter."
(Rev.4:1-2)
     b.  John was told that
Revelation is divided into three parts. (Rev.1:19)
          -  "The things which thou hast seen"
(Rev.1:1-20)

-  "The things which are" (Rev.2-3)

-  "And the things (The Rev.12 Woman) which shall be hereafter." (Rev.4-22)

Note: Therefore this Rev.12 Woman cannot be interpreted to be anything before John.
          (approx.95 A.D.)

          c.  She is taken out for time. times and half a time. (3 1/2 yrs)

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the
wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time,
from the face of the serpent
. (Rev 12:14-15)

This is identified as 1260 days (3 1/2 yrs) in Rev.12:6
Also identified as 42 months (3 1/2 yrs) in Rev.
11:2-3
               -
The only three and on half years in the Book of Revelation, is the time given
the antichrist, (Rev.13:5) which has been already established to be just before the
                   Second Coming.

Therefore the Rev.12 Woman belongs sometime before the revealing of the antichrist.
               (
i.e. the 5th. trumpet)
                          .

2.  This places the "man child" is the same time period

"And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven
heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the
stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which
was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a
man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God,
and to his throne."  (Rev 12:3-6)

This Website will be a continuous Bible study. Some of these subjects are added to and updated often. I have chosen to publish "line upon line...here a little, and there a little," (Isa.28:10) instead of waiting until every subject is complete. This way the Website will be fresh "manna" each day, (Exod.16:10-26, John.6:49-51, 1Cor.10:1-11, Rom.15:4) plus it provides opportunity for the Holy Spirit to "guide" into all truth. (John.16:12-13,
