The false prophet
The "beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh." (Rev 19:20-21)
1. This false prophet is the other beast of Rev,13:11-18
a. "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the
earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of
those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell
on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword,
and did live." (Rev 13:11-14; 19:20)
b. "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in
their right hand, or in their foreheads." (Rev 13:16-17)
2. This false prophet is always working with the antichrist. (false apostle)
A copy of the true apostolic and prophetic ministries that lay the foundation for the "glorious
Church" without spot or wrinkle. (Eph.2:20-22, 1Cor.3:10-15)
a. Note: Remember, the antichrist (false apostle) and false prophet begin in the last day
miracle working, powerful glorious (anointed) Church, and fall away in deception. (2Thes.2:3)
The apostle John gave us the pattern.
"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been
of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out,
that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
(1John.2:19-20, 2Thes.2:6)

Think on this: Judas ("the son of perdition" John.17:12) was so much "like" the
other apostles, they did not know he would betray Jesus. It was not until Judas
"went out" (fell away) from the apostles that he was exposed. (Manifested, revealed)
(Matt.10:1-4; 26:14-47, 2Thes.2:6) A tare amongst the wheat. (Matt.13:24-30, 36-43)
b. The true apostle and prophet
Paul says,"According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder,
I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how
he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus
Christ. (1Cor.3:10-11)
(1) The job description of the apostle and the prophet is to lay the foundation, the Lord Jesus
Christ. Why? It is to build upon with Gold, Silver and precious stones. A spiritual house!
(1Cor.3:10-11, Eph.2:20-22, 2Peter.3:1-2, 1Peter.2:5-9)
(2) The job description of the apostle and the prophet is to give preeminence to the Lord
Jesus Christ. (Col.1:18)
(3) The apostle and prophets doctrine (Acts.2:42) required God's name recorded on us in
Water Baptism. (Exod.20:24, Matt.28:19, Acts.2:36-42; 8:16:; Acts.10:48; 19:1-5)
This is the "family" name. (Eph.3:14-15)
(4) The apostle and prophets minister by the anointing of the Holy Spirit of God.
(John.16:13-15, Acts.1:1-8, 1Cor.2:1-14)
c. The false apostle and prophet
It is according to the arrogance, conceit and haughtiness of the dragon, (Satan) this false
apostle (antichrist) and prophet lay a foundation to build his counterfeit house.
(Think: Absalom 2Sam.15:1-6)
(1) The job description of the false apostle and the prophet is to lay the foundation, antichrist.
Why? It is to build a spiritual house! (Rev.13:11-18) Not a natural earthly house. There
is no earthly (natural) Temple today. It was destroyed 70 A.D. and will not be built again.

(2) The job description of the false apostle and the false prophet is give preeminence to
the antichrist.(Rev.13:12,15,16-18)
(3) The false apostle and false prophets doctrine (Acts.2:42) requires the antichrists name
recorded on us. (Rev.13:17; 14:9-11; 16:2; 19:20) 666 is his "family" name.
(4) The false prophet minister by the false anointing of the "another spirit" (2Cor.11:4)
"of the first beast." (Rev.13:12) The antichrist who is empowered by the dragon. (Satan)
The admonition to us today is,
"Beloved, believe NOT every spirit, but try the spirits whether
they are of God" (1John.4:1, 1Thes.5:21, 1John.2:27)
False prophet had two horns like a lamb
"I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon." (Rev 13:11-12) Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's (lamb) clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matt 7:15-19)
1. Note: Once again this "false prophet" (this "ravening" wolf) is looking like Jesus (The Lamb),
because the true prophet must be Christ-like! (Col.1:18, 1Cor.11:11-3) The false prophet had to
look like "a lamb" (Jesus) because prior to the Tribulation the Glorious Church had just finished
taking the "gospel of the kingdom" to "all the world (nations) for a witness" (Matt.24:14)
exalting the Lord Jesus Christ!
a. This was foreshadowed by Solomon's Temple, where "all the earth sought to Solomon, to
hear his wisdom, (1Kings.3:5-12) which God had put in his heart." (1Kings.10:24)
b. Isaiah used this same pattern to prophecy about the last day Church. (Isa.2:1-2)
"...all nations shall flow unto it." (The House of the Lord / The Church)

2. What do "horns" signify?
a. "The horn was used by animals as a weapon, it came to symbolize power and might.
Zedekiah, a false prophet in Ahab's day, made horns of iron to portray how Ahab was going
to defeat the Syrians."1 (1Kings.22:11,)
b. Adonijah "caught hold on the horns of the altar," as a as a power move to preserve his life
from king Solomon. (1KIngs.1:50-52)
c. Horns are used to describe kings and power. (Dan.7:20-21; 8:20-21, Rev.17:12-13)
3. To horns like a lamb
This false prophet will present himself as a legitimate prophetic ministry under the authority of
Christ, when he will actualy under the authority of the antichrist. "No marvel; for Satan himself
is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be
transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their work."
(2Cor.11:14-16)
4. This false prophet spoke as a dragon
The dragon has already been indentified as, "that old serpent...the Devil and Satan."
(Rev.12:9) Jesus said, "O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for
out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." (Matt 12:34-35) This false prophet
presented himself as a lamb, but his mouth revealed what was in his heart. It revealed how he
had given himself over to the dragon himself.
5. This false prophet exerciseth all the power of the first beast
The "first beast" (the antichrist, son of perdition, man of sin) received all his power from the
dragon. (Satan Rev.13:4) Another copy of the true apostloic and prophetic ministries that are
empowered by the Lord Jesus Christ. (Gal.1:11-12, Acts.1:8; 3:12; 4:7-8, 33, 1Cor.2:4,
Eph.3:5)
The counterfeit continues!
(Remember: This is beginning NOW! 2Thes.2:7, 1John.2:18-19; 4:3)
6. This false prophetic ministry will cause the world to worship the image of the beast
Another counterfeit! The apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher are given "for the
perfecting of the saints...Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son
of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure (image) of the stature of the fulness of Christ."
(Eph 4:11-14) Begin NEW notes here
a. The Church has been called out to conform to the image of Christ
(1) "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his
Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren." (Rom 8:29-30)
(2) "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into
the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." (2 Cor 3:18)
(3) "As we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
(1Cor.15:49-50)
(4) In order to be conformed to the image of Christ, we need to die to ourselves. Pay the
full price. Take up our Cross and follow Christ. (Luke.14:25-33)
b. The apostate Church is also called to be conformed to the image of the antichrist
(1) The false prophet told "them that dwell on the earth...that they should make an image to
the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live." (Rev 13:14-16) "and cause
that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
(Rev 13:15-16)
(2) Failure to be conformed to the antichrist's meant certain death, (Rev.13:15) a corrupt
counterfeit of us dying to ourselves in order to be conformed to Christ.
(3) "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast
should both speak." (Rev 13:15)
c. Nebuchadnezzar's image foreshadows this image of the beast. (Dan.2:1-45)
(1) It began as a God-given revelation. (Dan.2:31-45) The antichrist and the false prophet
began in the Church. They are "tares among the wheat," (Mat.13:24-30, 36-43)
that fall out from (1John.2:19) the Church and God's anointing and revelation.
(2) It became corrupted by Nebuchadnezzar's pride. (Dan.2:37; 3:1; 4:28-37) The antichrist
becomes lifted up with pride. Note: Rev.13:4 "Who is like the beast?" This man of sin is
no longer wanting to be like the most High, (Isa.14:11-14) he is now declaring "himself
that he is God." (2Thes.2:4)
(3) It was at the sound of all kinds of music all were to worship the image. (Dan.3:13-18)
Note: It is no coincidence that in these last days of the last days, there has been an
restoring of the pattern of worship (Psa.150) that God gave king David. The antichrist
and false prophet corrupt this pattern of worship with all kinds of music. God's music
does not include all kinds. (Review: David's Tabernacle, Phase.7 and Phase.2)

7. This false prophetic ministry makes fire come down from heaven
Counterfeit AGAIN! A copy of the real, genuine, unadulterated (James.4:4) God-given prophetic
ministry. The false prophet does, "great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from
heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means
of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;." (Rev 13:13-14)
a. Fire is used by God to bring a separation, purity, sanctification
"The invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood
by the things that are made, (fire) even his eternal power and Godhead." (Rom 1:20-21)
(1) Our God is a consuming fire. (Heb.12:29)
(2) The Word of God is a fire. (Jer.23:29)
(3) The fire (the Word of God) "shall try every man's work of what sort it is." (1Cor.3:13)
b. Fire was used by Elijah to prove he was sent by God
(1) He challenged the false prophets of Baal. Elijah said, "the God that answereth by fire,
let him be God." Fire was the conformation to who was God and that Elijah was His
servant. (1Kings.18:24-38)
(2) The false prophet was counterfeiting this to say he was God's servant, when he really was
the dragons servant. (Rev.13:12, 3-4)
(3) This false prophet is challenging the ministry of the prophet Elijah, one of the two
witnesses that are ministering during this same time. (Rev.11:1-12)
(4) Fire from heaven by this time was not unusual because the Glorious Chuch without
spot or wrinkle had just finished taking the "gospel of the kingdom" to all the world, for a
witness unto all nations." (This included,signs and wonders, and mighty deeds -
2Cor.12:12) Those that do not have "a love for the truth (The Word of God John.17:17)"
will be deceived because this miracle will look the same as true fire. Like that of
Phaorah's wise men, sorcerers and magicians when they copied the miracle that Moses
and Aaron did. (Exod.7:11, 2Thes.2:10, 1Thes.5:21)
8. Rich and poor, free and bond had to receive the mark
"And he (the false prophet) causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to
receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save
he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." (Rev 13:16-18)
Another counterfeit of God Redemptive plan. In the Old Testament Blueprint the "The rich
shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering
unto the Lord, to make an atonement for your souls." (Exod.30:15-16)
a. The apostle Peter compared this with our Redemption in Christ. (1Peter.1:18-20)
b. The false apostle and prophet are counterfeiting the same pattern in their redemptive plan,
just as in the Tower of Babel. (Gen.11:1-9)
9. It is the false anointing that invokes the mark
What does a prophet do? He prophesies! This "false prophet" is functioning by the false
prophetic anointing of the dragon (Devil - Rev.13:3-4, 12) imitating the "laying on of hands"
(Heb.6:1-3) and the "presbytery." (1Tim.4:14, Acts.13:1-3)
a. The "laying on of hands" is the doctrine of Christ. (Heb.6:1-3) Paul told Timothy,
"Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of
the hands of the presbytery." (1Tim.4:14-15; 1:18, 2Tim.1:6)
b. The antichrist and false prophet have a counterfeit "laying on of hands"
This should be NO (2Cor.11:1-15) surprise because their entire ministry is to be "like the
most High," (Isa.14:11-14) the same as the dragon. (Lucifer, Satan, the old serpent,
the Devil - Rev.12:9, , 2Thes.2:1-4)
Remember: WATCH OUT! The "spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should
come; and even now already is it in the world." (1 John 4:3-4) Even "even now are
there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." (1John.2:18) This is why
we need to "prove all things," (1Thes.5:21) "try the spirits," (1John.4:1) because our
adversary the devil" (1Peter.5:8) has "sowed tares (false prophets) among the wheat (the
Church)
