Mystery Babylon the Great Mother of Harlots
"So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." (Rev 17:3-6)
1. This Mother of Harlots is revealed sitting on the Beast, during the tribulation
"So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet
colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns." (Rev.17:3)
a. The key words are "sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having
seven heads and ten horns"
b. The "scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten
horns" is the Beast (the antichrist, the man of sin, the son of perdition 1John.2:18; 4:3,
2Thes.2:4-7, Rev.13:1-18; 17:1-6; 19:11-20)
c. The beast (antichrist, man of sin, son of perdition) only has 42 months to continue
("revealed in his time" 2Thes.2:6, Rev.13:5)
There is a set time for the Harlot Woman to be revealed in the Tribulation
(yet this mystery is already working 2Thes.2:7)

2. This "mystery of iniquity" is already working "stealthily" as "tares among the wheat."
"For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken
out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord 
shall consume with the
spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his
coming." (2Thes.2:7-9)
a. This mystery of iniquity is the revealing of antichrist with the
Harlot woman (the aposte Church / Bride) sitting on him.
b. John wrote, "it is the last time: and as ye have heard that
antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists;
whereby we know that it is the last time." (1John.2:18-19)
This is why Paul warned the Church!
There is a set time for the revealing of the antichrist with the Harlot woman sitting on his
back, but the "spirit of antichrist" (1John.4:3) and the preparation for the false bride
is "already" working stealthily. (2Thes.2:7, 1Thes.5:1-7) Jude wrote,"For there are certain
men crept (stealthily) in unawares" (Jude.1:4) This began in the 1st.Century and has
continued until this present day.
Don't be like Samson and go to sleep on the "knees" of the Delilah

This Rev.17 Woman is the antichrist's counterfeit Bride
There are only two woman in the Book of Revelation. The Woman clothed with the sun (Rev.12:1-17) the married Bride of Christ and Mystery Babylon the Great Mother of Harlots. (Rev.17:1-18; 18:1-3) Both are called "great mysteries." (Eph.5:33, 2Thes.2:7, Rev.17:5) One is true, the other false.
1. A woman always speaks of a Church, either true or false. (2Cor.11:1-3, Eph.5:21-33,
Jer.31:32, Hosea.1:1-11; 2:1-2)
a. The true Church / Woman / Bride
(1) Adam (the man) is compared to Christ. (Rom.5:14, 1Cor.15:45)
(2) Eve (the woman) is compared to the Church. (2Cor.11:1-3, Eph.5:21-33)
(3) Christ ("the last Adam" 1Cor.15:45) is making preparation now for the wedding as God
did for Adam (Rom.5:14) when He made Eve. (Gen.3:18-25, Eph.5:21-33, Rev.19:7)
b. The false, apostate Church / Woman / Bride
(1) The antichrist is "a man" (Rev.13:18) "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding
count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred
threescore and six."
(2) The antichrist has a false (woman) Eve because he is counterfeiting all of God's purpose.
(Isa.14:11-14, 2Thes.2:1-9, 2Cor.11:1-15) Paul says that there are false apostles (in the
Church / tares Matt.13:24-30, 36-43) preaching, "another Jesus...another spirit"
and "another gospel." (2Cor.11:4, 13) Therefore it should be no surprise that he would
also invoke the prinicple of not being "alone" (Gen.2:18) and have "another" bride.
2. This counterfeit Bride is being formed at the same time as the True Bride.
The "seeds" of this false Bride (tares) has already been sown in the Church, alongside the
(wheat, the children of the kingdom Matt.13:24-30, 36-43) The tares are beginning (2010 A.D.)
to "spring up" (Matt.13:26) as "philosophy and vain deceit, (and) the tradition of men, after the
rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." (Col 2:8) The Laodicean Church is a prophetic
picture of our time. (Rev.3:14-22) John said, "that in the last days perilous times shall come. For
men (tares) shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers,false accusers,
incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of
pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, 
(having the form of the Bride) but denying the power thereof: from
such turn away." (2 Tim 3:1-6, 2Cor.6:17)
a. Lucifer said, "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne
above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the
congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above
the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."
(Isa 14:13-15)
(1) David prophesied, "Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole
earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of
the great King." (Psa.48:2-3)
(2) The apostle and wise master builder wrote, "ye are come
unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the
heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of
angels To the general assembly and church of the firstborn,
which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and
to the spirits of just men made perfect." (Heb 12:22-24)
(3) Peter confirms this by identifying Jesus as the "chief
cornerstone" in Sion. (1Peter.2:6)
(4) Paul wrote Jesus is the "chief corner stone" of the Holy
Temple the Church.
Watch out! (1Thes.5:6, Matt.26:40, 1Cor.16:13)

b. The "congregation in the sides of the north" is the New Testament Church!
This should not be surprised because, this is what the antichrist said he would do. (2Thes.2:4)
Paul says, he "as God sitteth in the temple of God, (John.2:18-20, 1Cor.19, Eph.2:20-22,
1Peter.2:5, Acts.7:47-48; 17:24) shewing himself that he is God." (2Thes.2:4-5) This has
already been demonstrated. The only other "son of perdition" in God's Word was Judas.
(John.17:12) He was one of the apostles, and he fell from the inside out!
c. Sitting, disguised as a "minister of righteousness."
False apostles, "deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no
marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if
his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be
according to their works." (2Cor.11:13-16) WATCH OUT! This was "already" (2Thes.2:7)
happening in the 1st.Century Church and it has continued until our present today!
Note these examples of how Satan has infiltrated God's purpose
from the inside out to try and corrupt it.
(1) The serpent (Gen.31:1-24 infiltrated the Garden of Eden and
provoked Eve into revising God's Word. (Gen.2:16-17; 3:1)

(2) Provoked David to number the people. (1Chron.21:1-13)
(3) Satan tried, quoting scripture to Jesus. (Matt.4:1-11)
(4) Jesus said, the Devil planted the tares among the wheat.
(The Church) (Matt.13:24-30, 36-43)
(5) Peter allowed Satan to muniplulate him after declaring Jesus
as the Christ. (Matt.16:13-23)
(6) Annias allowed Satan to infriltrate and fill his heart to lie to the
Holy Ghost. (Acts.5:1-3)
(7) The Church at Smyrna had those in the Church that were part
of the synagogue of Satan. (Rev.2:9) These were tares sown
by Satan among the wheat (The Church)
(Matt.13:24-30, 36-43)
Note: God allows this because He is proving us.
"If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a
wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying,
Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt
not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your
God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul." (Deut.13:1-4, Judges.2:22; 3:1-4)
In my own words, God is proving His Church and asking the question,
"Do we want to marry Christ for His money,
(what we can get out of Him) or because we love Him?
d. We need to constantly "ask counsel of the Lord" for wisdom.
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench
not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Abstain from all appearance of evil." (1Thes.5:18-22)
(1) Not like Joshua (Josh.9:1-14) and the congregation of Israel who failed to "prove all
things" and "hold fast that which is good." (1Thes.5:21, 1John.4:1-3)
(2) The Philistines fought against David in the same valley, yet God gave David a different
battle plan for each fight. If David had not ask counsel of the Lord, and presumed the
first battle plan would work for the second battle, he would have been defeated.
(1Chron.14:8-17)
(3) The "damsel possessed with a spirit of divination...followed Paul and us, and cried,
saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of
salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the
spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out
the same hour." (Acts 16:16-19) Paul was not deceived, he "proved" this apparent
confirmation and rejected it.
Remember your weapons are NOT carnal (fleshly 2Cor.10:3-4) Our humanity will fail
us EVERYTIME! You cannot discern the enemy with any of your natural abilities.

1. Tares — the bearded darnel, mentioned only in Matt 13:25-30. It is the Lolium temulentum, a species of rye-grass, the seeds of which are a strong soporific poison. It bears the closest resemblance to wheat till the ear appears, and only then the difference is discovered. It grows plentifully in Syria and Palestine.
