The 7th. Trumpet

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail." (Rev 11:15)

This completes the order of events up to the Second Coming

Revelation is divided into three divisions. John was told to "
Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter."
(Rev 1:19-20)

1.  "The things which thou hast seen." (Rev.1:1-20)
     "
And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks
one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps
     with a golden girdle.
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes
     were as a flame of fire;
And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his
voice as the sound of many waters.
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth
went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
 And
when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me,
Fear not; I am the first and the last:
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for
evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.Rev 1:12-18

2.  "The things which are." (Rev.2-3)
     "
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden
candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks
which thou sawest are the seven churches." (
Rev 1:20-2:1)

3.  "The things which shall be herefater."
(Rev.4-22)
     "
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard
was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee
things which must be hereafter. (
i.e. Future)
Rev 4:1-2. The "things which shall be herefater" are
     divided into two divisions.

     a.
Chapter four through eleven follows chapter after chapter. (Rev.4:1-11:19)

b.  Chapter twelve through twentytwo fills in the details.
          (1)  The Rev.12 Woman is protected from the serpent for the same lenght of time as the beast
                 has to continue.
(Rev.13:5)
          (2)
Note: The beast has already been revealed in Rev.11:7
          (3)
Babylon falls during the time of the beast. (Rev.14:9; 17-19)
          (4)
The seven angels with the seven last plagues and vials are poured out on the seat of the
                 beast. (Rev.15-16)
          (5)
Armageddon is the beast making war against Jesis when He returns. (Rev.16:13-17)
          (6)
Jesus returns and destroys the beast at His return. (Rev.19:1-21) The Dragon put in
bottoless pit, the beast of false prophet in the lake of fire. Then there is a new jeavens and
                  a new earth.

In each example they were connected with the beast (antichrist) placing them
                  in the Tribulation time.

It is the Last of Seven trumpets (The "last trump")

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." (1Cor.15:51-54)

1.  There are no other trumpets to sound
               .

2.  Seven always carries the thought of completeness
The number "seven" is always in association with the thought of completeness, maturity,
     perfection.
     a.  On the seventh day God rested, because His work was finished. (Gen.2:1-3)

b.  Under the Law, the leper was declared completely clean after seven days. (Lev.13:1-51)
     c.  The Feast days were complete within a seventh month period of time. (Lev.23:23-41)
     b.  Joshua and the children of Israel marched around the walls of Jericho, seven times on the
seventh day, and Jericho was completely destroyed. (Josh.6:1-27)
     c.  Naaman was completely healed of his leprosy after he had dipped in the river Jordan
          seven times. (2Kings.1-14)
     d.  The Mystery of God is finished at the sounding of the seventh trump. (Rev.10:7)

Events that cannot be separated from the Seventh trumpet

1.  The dead in Christ shall rise first
There is only one resurrection for the dead in Christ when Christ returns. Therefore every
dead Old Testament saint (Eph.4:8) and New Testament saint (1Thes.4:13-18) must be in this
resurrection. There is no other! This resurrection cannot be separated from the Second
Coming of The Lord Jesus Christ. Note these verses.
     a.  "
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the
seven? for they all had her." (
Matt 22:28-31, Mark.12:23,
           Luke.20:33-35)
     b.  "
And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for
thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just."
          (Luke 14:14-15)
     c.  "
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the
          resurrection
of life; and they that have done evil, unto the
          resurrection
of damnation. (John 5:29) One resurrection for the
those in Christ (the just or justified by Christ's blood - Rom.1:17),
and one resurrection for those outside of Christ. (the unjust, without
          hope - Acts.24:15; Eph.2:1-12)
     d.  "
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the
          resurrection
at the last day.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that
believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" (John 11:24-26)
     e.  "
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
          (
1 Cor 15:42-52)

Note: It is always resurrection and never resurrections

                          .
2.  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
There will be a generation that will not see physical death, but "be changed,
In a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1Cor.15:51-53) This
     generation will
be preserved as Noah and those who "remained
     alive...in the ark." (Gen.6:1-22; 7:1-24, 1Thes.4:13-18, Gen.7:23)
There is only one time to be "caught up" because it cannot be
separated from the one resurrection of the Just.

3.  Jesus returns at the sounding of the seventh trumpet
This seventh trumpet cannot be separated from "the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ. Wherever our end-time doctrine places 1Thes.4:13-
18, it also must include the blowing of the seventh trumpet, because Jesus returns at the sounding
of this trumpet. (Rev.11:15) This is where the "mystery of God" is finished. (Rev.10:7)
                   .

4.  The first six trumpets must sound before the 7th. trumpet
"And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
(Rev 8:2-3) "And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound."
     (
Rev 8:6-7) "The first angel sounded..." (Rev.8:7) "The second angel sounded..." (Rev.8:8) The
third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh angel sounded. One after the other.
   .
5.  Before the trumpets can sound the seven seals must be opened

"And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half
an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven
     trumpets
."
(Rev 8:1-3) "And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer;
and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints
upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
And the smoke of the incense, which came with
the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
And the angel took the
censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and
thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
And the seven angels which had the seven
     trumpets prepared themselves to sound."
(Rev 8:3-6) Therefore the seven trumpets follow the
     seven seals.

6.  Amageddon cannot be separated from the seventh trumpet
"And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was
dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits
like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the
     mouth of the false prophet.
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto
the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God
     Almighty."
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest
he walk naked, and they see his shame.
And he gathered them together into a place called in
     the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
(Rev 16:12-16)
     a.  That battle of that great day of God
          (1)
These "shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall
overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings:
and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful."
                 (Rev 17:14-15)

          (2)
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he
that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in
righteousness he doth judge and make war.
(Rev 19:11-12)
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen,
                 white and clean...
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF
                 KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
(Rev 19:13-17)

                 Note:
The key words, "King of Kings, Lord of Lords," (Rev.11:15; 17:14-15; 19:13-
                 17)
which places Amageddon and the Seventh trumpet together.
     b.  Behold I come as a thief  (Second Coming / Seventh Trumpet)
          (1)
For "yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in
                 the night.
(1Thes.5:2-3)
          (2)  T
he "day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the
works that are therein shall be burned up."
(2 Peter 3:10-11)

There is only one Second Coming. Only one 7th. Trumpet

There are several Greek words used for "coming." (parousia,1 apokalupsis2 and erchomai3)  From the meaning of these Greek Words, some have developed a two stage coming. It is said that the parousia coming is the secret coming for the Church, when the Church will be Raptured (caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1Thes.4:13-18) before the Tribulation begins. Then there is another coming (apokalupsis, erchmai) This is Christ's public coming to the World. This doctrine is called, "The Pre-Tribulation Rapture."

1.  There is not a two-stage coming  (Review: Eschatology One, Phase.10)
The apostle Paul, (who was taught directly by
     Jesus
Gal.1:11-12) told the Thessalonians, "
we beseech you, brethren, by the coming (parousia1)
of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
That ye be not soon shaken in
mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of
     Christ
is at hand." (2Thes.2:1)

a.  This same word "parousia" is used when Jesus destroys the antichrist at the end of the
tribulation. Confirming that there is only one coming at the end of the Tribulation.
     b.  Paul says, "
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?"
(2 Thess 2:5) He had already told the Thessalonians that Jesus would return after the
tribulation and to be on alert, because the "mystery of inquity doth already work."

(2Thes.2:7) John wrote, "
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that
antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is
          the last time." (1 John 2:18; 4:3)
Review: "What about the Rapture?"

Note: It is no wonder that there is a warning to "not sleep, as do other; but let us
          watch and ne sober."
 (1Thes.5:7)

(Click here for expanation of the chart below)

2.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out
     of the way."
(2Thes.2:5-8)

      a.  Our "spiritual eyes" is understanding the Word of God. (Eph.1:18, Matt.13:16,
           Luke.24:16, 25-31, Eph.4:18, 2Cor.3:13-16, 2Peter.1:9)
      b.
Don't go to sleep as Samson did on "the knees" of Delilah (Mystery Babylon the great,
           the Mother of Harlots)
(1Thes.5:6-7)

To be continued............
"For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity." (1Cor.13:9-13)

Notes------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.  Strong's NT:3952  parousia (par-oo-see'-ah); from the present participle of NT:3918; a being near, i.e. advent (often, return; specifically, of Christ to punish Jerusalem, or finally the wicked); (by implication) physically, aspect: KJV - coming, presence.

2.  Strong's NT:602 apokalupsis (ap-ok-al'-oop-sis); from NT:601; disclosure: KJV - appearing, coming, lighten, manifestation, be revealed, revelation. That "ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming3 (apokalupsis) of our Lord Jesus Christ." (1Cor.1:7-8)

3.  Strong's NT:2064 erchomai (er'-khom-ahee); middle voice of a primary verb (used only in the present and imperfect tenses, the others being supplied by a kindred [middle voice] eleuthomai (el-yoo'-thom-ahee); or [active] eltho (el'-tho); which do not otherwise occur); to come or go (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively): KJV - accompany, appear, bring, come, enter, fall out, go, grow, light, next, pass, resort, be set. Then "shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming (erchomai) in the clouds of heaven with  power and great glory." (Matt 24:30-31, 48; 25:27; 26:64, Mark.13:26, 36; 14:62,  Luke.12:45; 19:23; 21;27 )
